Prior to becoming an attorney Mr. Dobbins had two prior careers. He first was a small business owner operating multiple restaurants and nightclubs, promoted numerous national concert tours, and managed a rock band. Mr. Dobbins also consulted with multiple other small businesses where he successfully assisted them in turning around failing operations. After eventually exiting the entertainment business, he obtained a license as a Registered Nurse and thereupon, practiced in one of the two largest emergency departments in the state as an Emergency Department Registered Nurse and later specializing in conducting emergency risk assessments on psychiatric patients in mental health crisis.
